Zika Threat Is Being Combated By Device’s Integrated Pest Management Solution

Denver, CO, July 19, 2016 – IPM Product Manufacturing, Inc. (IPM) announced registration of its proprietary SolaRid™ insect control device with the United States EPA.

IPM CEO Randy Sasaki said “we have completed BETA testing of second generation prototypes over several months in different locations across the United States. The positive results trigger compulsory regulatory steps to be completed by the Company in advance of commercialization.

The EPA requires pesticide products to be registered along with information regarding manufacturing and locations thereof. While the attracting chemicals contained in layers of our proprietary light panels are not poisons and are animal based in nature, they never the less require registration before commercial production occurs which is completed”.

IPM President Don Richardson stated, “as we make improvements to our product, manufacturing processes change and often require additional approvals to coincide with product launches which management continues to update. Toward this end, the Company has also completed registration with Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS) and the Federal System for Award Management (SAM), in lengthy processes of federal grant applications, but importantly, qualify the Company for government sales opportunities which we will be pursuing”.

Both the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA) recommend using an “Integrated Pest Management” strategy for mosquito and other infectious insect disease control; an ecologically based approach that involves complementary interventions used in combination for eradication. This strategy is the basis of the IPM Products Manufacturing’s – SolaRid™ green industrial insect control device (ICD) multiple integrated benefits- leaving local culture and ecosystem functions undisturbed; and is SOLAR powered eliminating labor expense.
